Operation: How to install cruise control on a Fiat Ducato 244 2.8 JTD

To be able to do this operation, in addition to having good manual skills as regards the electrical part, we must purchase the cruise lever of the Alfa romeo 147 or 159: we can find it for 65.00 euros on E-Bay (+ 10.00 euros of delivery costs) and the 4-pole fiat Panda brake pedal switch which costs 17.99 on E-Bay, free delivery. We have to disassemble the dashboard, which we see from below in the video. Once the fuse panel has been removed, remove the two internal screws and the lateral one, then one underneath, another that cannot be seen under the lever that releases the front hood and one under the steering wheel tilt lever. We remove the panel. We identify the connector on which we will have to do the work with the red, white and black wires. We also remove the steering wheel shell and the video shows us the colors of the various cables, providing us with a very clear diagram of the various connections, which you can join with a simple connector. We also remove the passenger side of the dashboard. We make the necessary connections and close this part of the dashboard. Let's check the brake switch, to see if it's a two-pole or a four-pole; if there are 4 cables it is 4 poles. We see the lever already positioned, then we will have to shape the shell of the steering wheel to make it fit. Now all that remains is to close everything following the reverse action. These vehicles were already set up, so there is already a warning light on the dashboard, which is activated automatically.

How to set the time in the Citroen DS3?
