Fiat Ducato - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat Ducato
X250
- Years 2006-2014 To replace the Fiat Ducato toothed belt, let's start by getting the belt + water pump kit (the video uses a continental kit code CT1148WP1 and the OE locking tools); to replace the belt with the engine fitted to the vehicle, we remove the right headlamp, coolant surge tank, headlamp washer reservoir, and outer belt liner; then we bring the engine to top dead center first cylinder. We use the 4 locking tools, insert them 1 at the bottom of the crankshaft, 1 at the camshaft and 2 at the top of the camshaft; remove the torx screw in the crankshaft housing and screw in the locking tool; screw the other 2 locking tools at the top of the camshaft (not before having unscrewed the 2 bolts with a size 6 Allen key; the mobile pin must be inserted into the camshaft) and finally use the locking in the hole of the camshaft sprocket. Now we loosen the tensioner pulley, remove the toothed belt and replace it; We also disassembled the fuel pump sprocket because there is a bigger water pump. Included in the kit, we also find a booklet for assembling the 3 gaskets (the black one goes in the fuel pump, the small gray one at the top of the water pump dashboard and the larger one at the top of the water pump); before fitting the toothed belt we must loosen the camshaft sprocket using the counter support; then we fit the belt starting from the camshaft sprocket going counterclockwise. During assembly, pay attention to the tensioner roller because the new one is different; we tighten the roller by turning it counterclockwise with the Allen key until the notch overcomes and completely covers the hole and we tighten it. Now remove all locking tools, tighten the camshaft sprocket (90nM torque wrench) and crank the engine 8 times in the direction of rotation, then return the engine to the "pms" position; to readjust the tensioner roller, loosen the roller screw and position the roller notch perfectly centered in the hole. Finally we can reassemble everything by carrying out the disassembly operation in reverse.

Frequently Asked QuestionsDisassembly of the gear knob on the Lancia Ypsilon 2Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove and replace the gear knob on the second series Lancia Ypsilon, but also on the Lancia Musa, in simple and quick steps. We get inside the car and start by removing the old gear knob; to do this, just unscrew it anticlockwise, as shown in the video. At this point we also remove the gearshift gaiter, in order to replace, if necessary, it too; we just have to fix the new headset and insert the new gear knob, screwing it correctly and without creating play on the gear lever! by ScegliAuto More videos
