How to Remove and Clean the MAP Sensor on a Fiat Qubo

This tutorial shows how to remove and clean the MAP sensor on a Fiat Qubo when it is faulty and causing issues with the vehicle, triggering the yellow engine warning light. Symptoms may include excessive fuel consumption, lack of power, and failed emissions tests. To remove the MAP sensor, lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; remove the air filter, then detach the clamp and disconnect the hose before pulling out the filter. Now that the air filter is removed, disconnect the sensor connector; then, using a 20 Torx socket, unscrew the sensor. Once the sensor is removed, clean it and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
