How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Fiat Panda

This operation is not particularly easy or straightforward, so it is advisable to have it done by a professional. First, allow the engine to cool and disconnect the battery cables. Then, remove all parts that obstruct the belt or hinder access to it. Next, align the engine crankshaft and remove the timing belt bearings. At this point, check if they also need replacing. Once the necessary parts are removed, proceed to install the new ones, taking care to respect the installation direction as indicated on both the belt and the packaging of any purchased timing kit. After this, you only need to set the engine timing. Use the specific tool on the crankshaft sprocket; ensure all elements are aligned and perform the adjustment by turning the crankshaft a couple of times.
