Resetting the Service Light on a Fiat Bravo

After changing the engine oil on a Fiat Bravo, you need to reset the system that alerts you to this operation. To do this, connect a PC to the car via the EOBD port, which is located behind a small cover at the bottom left of the steering column. To remove it, unscrew the three screws that hold it in place. Once removed, insert the connector and connect it to the PC with the "MultiECU Scan" program installed via a USB port. Launch the program and select the port and hardware type used from the Settings. In the main menu, select the make and model of the car, "service indication" and "Service interval reset", then click on "connect". Turn on the dashboard, and once connected, click on "adjustment" and then on "reset distance to next service", confirm, and once done, disconnect. Return to the main menu, select "engine control" and click on "connect". In the next menu, select "adjustment" and "oil replacement" and execute. At the end of the procedure, turn off the dashboard and wait 60 seconds. After this time, start the engine to verify that the reset has occurred.
