Operation: How to replace the oil filter of the Fiat Punto 188.

Replacing the oil filter and engine oil of the Fiat Punto model 188 is a very simple operation that can be done independently. Start by opening the front hood and removing the filter cap using a 27mm socket wrench. Once the cap is removed, you can also remove the filter from its housing. After thoroughly cleaning the cap and gasket, install the new filter inside and reattach the cap. Continue the operation by lifting the car. Using a 12mm socket wrench, remove the oil pan drain plug and let all the oil inside drain out. Once the tank is empty, close everything and lower the car. Remove the oil tank cap located in the front compartment and pour the new oil inside.
