In this video, see how to replace the dynamo belt on a classic Fiat 500: first, check its wear condition. It should flex by about 1 cm. If you need to replace it, purchase a new one; you can find it on eBay with the code 181675565207 for £9.00 plus £8.00 delivery. To replace it, pull the handbrake, engage fourth gear (engine off), insert a flat screwdriver between the engine pulley and the belt, and try to remove the belt from the pulley. For installation, place the belt on the dynamo and the engine pulley, starting from the top, then gently push the car forward, and the belt will settle itself. Run the engine for a couple of minutes, and the belt will be in place.

How to Open the Bonnet of a Renault Megane if the Lever is Broken?
