To replace the timing chain on a Fiat Doblò 1.3 MultiJet, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. You will need to remove the cover on the side of the engine and some obstructing parts to access the sprockets and the chain itself. By loosening the chain tensioner and locking the rotation of the sprockets, you can reduce the tension and slide out the chain.

Once the old chain is removed, you can replace it with a new part; after replacement, reinstall all previously removed components.
