In order to replace the transmission shaft bearing of the Fiat 500, it will be necessary to completely remove the gearbox from its housing by unscrewing the screws that fix the gearbox to its housing and disconnecting the connectors. At this point, it will be possible to proceed by loosening the screws that fix the gearbox covers and locate the bearings inside. The transmission shaft bearing can be removed using an extractor and then inserting a new replacement piece; after the replacement, all the removed parts can be reassembled.
