To replace the transmission bearing on the Fiat 500, you will need to completely remove the gearbox from its housing by undoing the screws that secure the gearbox to its housing and disconnecting the connectors as well: at this point, you can proceed to loosen the screws that secure the covers of the gearbox and locate the bearings inside. The transmission bearing can be removed using a puller and then a new replacement part can be inserted; after the replacement, you can reassemble all the removed parts.
