In this video, you will see where the crankshaft position sensor is located on a Fiat 500, useful in case you need to replace it, a task that is extremely simple and quick. As shown, the sensor is positioned at the lower part of the engine, right next to the oil filter.

Before proceeding, ensure that the engine is sufficiently cool, then lift the front of the vehicle and go underneath it. Next, disconnect the power connector, remove the single fixing bolt, and install the replacement.
