Installing an Additional Cigarette Lighter Socket on the Fiat Tipo

Learn how to install an additional cigarette lighter socket in the Fiat Punto to power an accessory, such as a dash cam. Obtain a socket, an inline fuse, and a 12V test light. First, cut the plug from the socket and crimp the positive terminal to the inline fuse. Open the fuse box located under the steering column, and using the test light, find a fuse that is live with the ignition on. Replace it with your inline fuse and connect the negative terminal to a bodywork bolt. Finally, secure the cigarette lighter socket in your preferred position using the supplied adhesive or cable ties.
