Eliminate the Brake Squeal of the Fiat Tipo

Learn how to eliminate that annoying squeal you may hear when braking with the Fiat Tipo. Lift the car and remove one of the front wheels. Use a spanner to hold a bolt in place while you use another to unscrew the screw that secures the brake caliper. Once done, rotate it upwards. Remove one brake pad and, using a grinder, chamfer the edge of the friction material. Clean the seat with a special spray and apply copper grease to the mounting points and the back of the pad. Refit the pad and reposition the caliper, securing it with its screw, adding a drop of threadlock. Refit the wheel with the correct torque and repeat the same operations on the other wheel.
