A very practical and effective solution is to install a gas strut to support the front bonnet, making it easier to open, holding it during maintenance, and preventing it from falling violently when closing. The most important thing is to identify the points for fitting the strut and create the necessary supports: on the wing, it will be sufficient to apply a pin just behind the engine coolant reservoir, while on the bonnet, a custom-shaped bracket will need to be made and fitted approximately in the centre of the bonnet.
