Fiat Panda - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat Panda
MK 2, 169
- Years 2003-2012 Replacing and adjusting the handbrake cable is an extraordinary maintenance intervention that can be quite expensive. That's why today, with the help of our video tutorial, we will explain how to perform this maneuver independently. The first thing to do is to lift the car using a jack and then remove the rear wheel. Once the wheel is removed, you will immediately notice the handbrake cable. In 4x4 vehicles, the cable also passes through the passenger side. The second thing to do is to get into the car and remove the handbrake lever panel and its respective nuts, as shown in the video. Now, we can start disassembling the internal cable by removing the nuts with pliers and pulling it towards the outside. The third thing to do is to remove the housing where the external brake cable is located using a pliers and remove it completely. The fourth thing to do is to insert the new cable into the external housing and then pass it towards the inside, where it will be secured with the previously removed nuts. Reassemble the central panel and the wheel to complete the job.
