In this tutorial, we will see how to change the gearbox oil on the Fiat 500, a very simple and quick operation to be done approximately every 31,000 miles. First, ensure that the engine is completely cold, then go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions, and unscrew the first drain bolt with a 12mm hex key. Next, unscrew the second bolt, allowing the oil contained in the transmission to drain out, and then reassemble everything.

At this point, simply pour the new oil through the designated top hole.
