These simple steps will show you how to remove and replace the engine battery of the Fiat 500X, thus restoring the functionality of the Start&Stop system. First, open the bonnet and start by unscrewing and removing both battery terminals (positive and negative); then remove the battery from its compartment and replace it with a new one of the correct type and the same amperage, as shown in the video.

At this point, you will reset the Start&Stop functionality, which can be temporarily deactivated using the appropriate button on the dashboard.
