This tutorial shows how to replace the steering wheel in a Fiat 500, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental airbag deployment.

Start by entering the cabin, then remove the lower cover of the steering column. Insert into the two holes located at the back of the steering wheel and, using a long, thin screwdriver, unlock the internal securing clips.

At this point, remove the airbag, disconnect it, and unscrew the large central nut. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
