In this video, you can see how to change the brake bulb in the rear light of a Ford Fiesta MK5: first, open the tailgate, and you will see that on the side of the catch, there are two clips next to the light unit that you need to remove to pull the light out of its housing.

It will be sufficient to apply some force to pull the entire light unit towards you, which will still be connected via the electrical connector.

Identify the bulb that needs to be changed and pull it out from the back of the light unit, remembering that the new bulb must never be touched with bare hands; doing so would halve its lifespan. Refit the light unit and screw the screws back in. If you need to change the third brake light, you will see that there are two rubber grommets just under the opening: remove them and use a screwdriver to release the spring that holds the third brake light cover, which will then easily come out of its housing.

You can then change the bulb easily and snap it back into place.
