Disassembly of Front Door Electric Lock

Using a Torx key, remove the securing screws located at the bottom and side of the door panel. Remove the handle trim to access the screws that also need to be removed.

Also remove the plastic covers from the pillar and detach the window winder knob to take it off. Gently push upwards on the panel to unclip it and remove it. Remove the plastic backing panel using a tool to cut the sealant. Once removed, you can access the lock.

Unscrew the screws on the side of the lock and those hidden under the plastic caps to remove the external handle. Unscrew the screws on the side of the door to remove the lock assembly.

The lock will need to be extracted from its housing after disconnecting the electrical cables and the return cable.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
