The video describes the operation of the right rear door lock: it is a fairly complex mechanism that integrates, in addition to the motor for central locking, a series of linkages that allow the door to be opened via both the internal and external handles as well as manual insertion of the lock. The locking mechanism consists of a sort of cam that, once in contact with the latch mechanism, snaps and locks; it is also possible to deactivate the opening from the inside as a safety feature for children. Its replacement requires the removal of the door panel.
