How to Replace the Engine Bay Lock on a Ford Focus Mk2

This guide shows how to replace the engine bay lock on a Ford Focus Mk2. The first step is to remove the two 10 mm bolts that hold the lock lever in place. At this point, you can extract the old key barrel assembly. Install the new component and secure it in position following the recess in the vehicle's body. Refit the lock lever and reinstall the bolts. Check the lock's proper operation before driving. Refit the front grille if necessary.
