How do you reset the Sync 2 of the Ford car radio?

In order to reset the Ford car radio's Sync 2, you must turn on the instrument panel by inserting the key into the corresponding slot and turning it to turn on the panel. Once the central display is turned on, you can simultaneously press the buttons to eject the discs and the SEEK button. This will bring up the diagnostic menu, from which you can also perform a factory reset: by selecting the appropriate option, you can turn on the display and verify that the reset has been successful.
