Want to carry out your own car maintenance to save on costs? Here’s how to replace the fuel filter on a Ford Fiesta: Lift the bonnet and secure it. Once you locate the fuel filter, disconnect it from the pipes and wiring (remove the engine soundproofing panel). Extract the filter housing by hand from its location (after removing the securing pins). Remove the worn filter and reattach the filter housing with the new filter. Reinstall the filter housing in the engine bay with all its components (pipes and power cables).
