Replacing the Cabin Air Filter in the Ford Ecosport

To replace the cabin air filter in the Ford Ecosport, first locate its position. In this case, as shown in the images, it is situated on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment. The first step is to remove the glove compartment itself. To do this, press inward on the upper/lateral part of the glove compartment once it is fully opened. Behind the glove compartment, on the upper horizontal panel, you will find two screws that need to be removed with a suitable screwdriver. Next, remove the plastic cover on the side of the gear lever by first taking off the trim around the gear lever and then unscrewing the bolts that hold it in place. At this point, after unscrewing one screw, remove the upper panel located under the glove compartment, and then take off the plastic element on the left side (unscrew the 4 screws that secure it). This will give you access to the filter housing; simply pull it out and replace it with a new air filter.
