How to reset the pressure sensors of a Ford Ranger (and Mazda BT50)

Let's see how the procedure works to relearn/reset the TPMS sensors for Ford Ranger/Mazda BT50 using an inexpensive relearning tool. To start the vehicle's learning mode, take the driver's seat and press and release the brake pedal. Turn the ignition on and off three times in a row, ending with the ignition on and the dashboard lights illuminated. Press and release the brake pedal again. Repeat the ignition on and off procedure three times, but this time end in the "off" position (everything off). If we have correctly followed the sequence, we will hear a "beep" from the car's horn: this indicates that the vehicle has entered the sensor learning mode. We will also see the TPMS symbol flashing and a message like "Train LF tire": the car is ready. Now, bring the relearning tool close to the valve of the left front sensor. Press the button and hold it down: we will hear a short "beep" from the horn confirming that it has received the signal. Repeat the procedure for each tire following the correct order: right front / right rear / left rear. To exit the mode, simply turn off the ignition and start the vehicle normally. Drive for a few minutes until the system updates the new pressures.
