How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Ranger

Model: Ford Ranger T6, P375, PX - Years 2011-2023

To reset the service light on a Ford Ranger, sit in the driver's seat with the vehicle off. Insert the key and turn on the ignition, the display will show "service required". Use the controls on the steering wheel (the buttons on the right as shown in the video) and not those on the central console. Press the "ok" button to confirm. Use the "left" arrow to scroll through the options until it highlights "trip1" or "trip2" (it doesn't matter which). Use the "down" arrow to scroll down to the "settings" option and confirm. Scroll down again until you find "vehicle info": confirm with "ok"; scroll down again until you find "maintenance" and press "ok" now "confirm service" appears. This is the key step: the system will ask you to hold "ok". Hold it for 3/5 seconds until you see a progress bar filling on the screen and the message "service completed".
