How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Ranger?

To reset the service light on a Ford Ranger, get inside the vehicle and turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the controls on the steering wheel to access the menu of the central display on the instrument panel. Scroll through the various options until you reach the section dedicated to vehicle maintenance, usually indicated as "Vehicle Maintenance" or "Oil Life". Once the maintenance interval screen is open, press and hold the "OK" button for a few seconds until the confirmation message for the reset appears on the display. At the end of the procedure, turn off the instrument panel, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to verify that the service light has been correctly eliminated from the vehicle's display.
