This guide will show you how to remove and replace the manual gear shift knob on a Ford Fiesta. First, get inside the vehicle and firmly unscrew the knob from the gear lever counterclockwise until it is completely removed; also remove the spring underneath, detaching and removing the gear gaiter if necessary, as shown in the video. Now reassemble the gaiter in order and then the knob, securing it properly onto the lever; ensure there is no play between the lever and the knob.
