Learn how to start a Ford Puma in an emergency when the remote battery is flat. Locate the hidden key slot: a small recess or slot near the steering wheel or dashboard.

This is usually a specific housing for the key. Insert the remote into the designated slot with the front facing upwards, as shown in the video. With the key in place, press the start button normally: the vehicle recognises the transponder even without a battery in the remote.

The system works because it detects the RFID chip in the key (the battery is not needed).
