To safely change the engine oil on the Ford Transit Custom, lift the front of the vehicle with a jack and secure it with one or more axle stands. At this point, proceed with the oil change by removing the reservoir cap and then draining the oil sump after placing a sufficiently large container underneath. After closing the oil sump, you can remove the filter and replace it, ensuring to lubricate the edge of the new filter before fitting it. Now lower the vehicle and fill the reservoir with the new engine oil.
