How to Locate the Fuses in a Ford Escape

To locate the fuses in a second-generation Ford Escape, you need to find the fuse boxes installed in the vehicle. The main fuse box is located in the engine compartment next to the battery and is protected by a plastic cover that can be removed to access the fuses and relays. A second fuse panel is located inside the cabin, under the right side of the dashboard, near the passenger footwell, behind a removable cover. Depending on the engine and trim level, there may also be an additional module dedicated to power distribution. To identify the function of each fuse, you can consult the diagram on the back of the fuse box cover or the vehicle's owner's manual.
