How to Replace the Battery of the Ford Kuga

Today, you will learn how to replace the battery of the Ford Kuga. To remove the battery, open the front bonnet and then pull off the top protective cover of the battery. Disconnect the airflow sensor by pulling the tab upwards and then disconnect the locking pin. Loosen the clip of the air duct hose. Remove the air filter box to gain access to the battery cover. Disconnect the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Unscrew the nut on top of the battery and remove the battery. Insert the new battery into the vehicle and connect the positive and negative connectors. Then, screw the nut onto the bracket. Refit the air filter box and the air duct hose. Reconnect the sensor and close the battery cover.
