How to change the cabin air filter in a Ford Focus

To replace the cabin air filter in a Ford Focus, access the passenger side of the cabin. After removing the side panel of the centre console and, if necessary, the lower trim, reach the cover of the filter compartment located next to the centre tunnel. Once the fixing screws are removed, open the cover and you can slide out the old pollen filter, compressing it slightly during extraction. Before installing the new element, it is advisable to clean the inside of the housing from dust and debris. Next, insert the new filter respecting the airflow direction indicated by the arrows printed on the component. Finally, close the cover, reassemble the removed panels, and check the correct operation of the air conditioning system.
