How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Ka

To reset the service light on a first-generation Ford Ka, completely switch off the engine and the instrument cluster. Locate the trip reset button, positioned on the cluster near the odometer. Press and hold the button, then switch on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Continue to hold the button for a few seconds until the maintenance light goes off or the service counter resets. At this point, release the button, switch off the cluster, and restart the vehicle to ensure the service light is no longer present.
