How to Permanently Disable the Start/Stop System on a Ford Ranger Raptor

On the Ford Ranger Raptor, the permanent deactivation of the Start/Stop system can be done by intervening in the engine bay. Open the bonnet and locate the sensor connected to the battery monitoring system, positioned on the negative terminal. The Start/Stop system uses this sensor to assess the charge status. By disconnecting the IBS sensor connector from the negative terminal of the battery, the control unit no longer receives the necessary data to activate the Start/Stop. After disconnecting the connector, close the bonnet and start the vehicle: the system will be continuously deactivated.
