Let's see how to access the spare wheel of the Ford Ranger/Raptor: the operation is divided into two main phases. Lower the spare wheel and lift the vehicle to change the tyre. The spare wheel is located under the load bed, and the tools are found in the cabin. The ratchet and extension bars are in a bag under the driver's side rear seat; the scissor jack is behind the backrest of the rear seat, secured to a threaded rod. Connect the two extension bars and insert them into the hole in the bumper; turn them slowly until they engage with the square key of the locking mechanism; unscrew to the left until the wheel is on the ground, and continue until the cable is loose enough to allow you to pull the wheel out. Now it’s time to change the wheel, a task you should be familiar with.
