How to Reset the Service Light on a 2016 Ford Focus

The reset method described in the video is the universal Ford method and works every time: sit in the car, close the door, and turn on the ignition. Press down hard on both the brake and accelerator pedals; while holding them down, after 3 seconds the display shows "service oil reset in progress". Continue to hold for a total of 25 seconds. At the end, the message changes to "Service oil reset complete". Release the pedals and turn off the ignition. There is also a method using the steering wheel: with the ignition on, press "set" on the left side of the steering wheel until you hear a beep; on the right side of the steering wheel, press "ok" to confirm the reset.
