How to Locate the Fuses in a Ford Taurus

To locate the fuses in a Ford Taurus, first find the fuse panel in the cabin. Open the driver’s door and look under the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel, near the brake pedal. Remove the cover of the panel to access the fuses and relays. The second box is located in the engine compartment, inside the power distribution box. Open the hood and locate the container in the engine area; remove the cover to access the fuses and relays. Before replacing a fuse, turn off the engine and use the extractor located on the cover of the panel. Always install a fuse with the same amperage as the one removed.
