How to Locate Fuses and Understand Their Schematics in a Ford Taurus

Model: Ford Taurus MK 6 - Years 2010-2016

The first fuse panel in a Ford Taurus can be found inside the vehicle's cabin, located directly under the steering column on the driver's side. This first box contains fuses assigned to: power window motor, audio amplifier, multifunction display, radio, interior lights, brake lights, high beams, low beams, start and stop button, horn relay, data link connection, ignition switch, heated steering wheel, fog lights, climate control module, etc. Inside the engine compartment, you will find the second fuse box; this one contains: windshield wiper motor, anti-lock brake system, sunroof, cigarette lighter, rain sensor, alternator, fuel pump, injectors, oxygen sensor, solenoid, etc.
