We can locate the first fuse panel of a Ford Taurus car inside the vehicle interior, exactly placed under the steering wheel column and therefore on the driver's side. This first box contains fuses assigned to: window motor, audio amplifier, multifunction display, radio, interior lights, brake lights, high beam, low beam, start and stop button, horn relay, data link connection, ignition switch, heated steering wheel, fog lights, air conditioning control module etc. Inside the engine compartment we find the second fuse box; the latter contains: wiper motor, anti-lock braking system, panoramic roof, cigarette lighter, rain sensor, alternator, fuel pump, injectors, oxygen sensor, solenoid, etc.
