How to Remove the Glow Plugs from a Ford Mondeo 2.0 MK 5 Engine

To access these components, several parts must be removed from the upper part of the engine. Disconnect the main electrical connector going to the glow plugs, remove the fuel lines by prying on the plastic tabs, disconnect the electrical connectors on the fuel filter housing, and remove the fixing bolts to take off the component. Loosen the clamp and remove the pipe from the turbo to the intake manifold, moving it towards the radiator; disconnect the electrical connectors of the MAP sensor and the rail pressure sensor. There is a small pipe above: disconnect it, along with the wiring that runs above it. Also, remove the 4 bolts securing the exhaust gas recirculation pipe to the manifold. Now, unscrew the 3 bolts that secure the intake manifold to the cylinder head. It is advisable to use a flexible extension.
