Replacing the Cabin Fan

Model: Ford Ranger MK 2 - Years 1993-1997

Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported. To remove the cabin fan, it is necessary to detach the coolant and windscreen washer fluid reservoirs. Disconnect the connector attached to the fan motor and unscrew the mounting nuts of the fan to extract it. Then fit the fan onto the shaft of the new motor and reverse the installation process (the flat part of the mounting flange should face downwards): tighten the mounting nuts, reconnect the fan motor connector, and reattach the reservoirs.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
