How to Replace Brake Pads and Discs on a Ford Focus

Today, you will learn how to replace the brake pads and discs on your Ford Focus. First, use a hydraulic lift to raise the car, remove the wheel, and then proceed to detach the brake caliper (to do this, remove the bolts located at the back of the caliper; if you struggle with a simple spanner, use an air gun for assistance). Now, remove the central bolt holding the disc in place so you can extract it. Good, now you can fit the new disc, insert it, and tighten the bolt. Before fitting the brake caliper, replace the brake pads. To insert the new ones, you need to reset the pistons and place the new pads in. Refit the caliper by tightening the bolts that secure it to the discs. Finally, reattach the wheel and repeat the same operation on the other side.
