How to Replace the Remote Battery on Ford C Max

Is the battery of your Ford C Max remote flat? Here’s how to replace it. Take your remote and press the sides until the key cover pops off, then extract the key. Use a small screwdriver to pry open the key cover (split the covers as shown in the video). Pry until the covers separate, then extract the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Remove the small battery from the cover and replace it with a new one, pressing the key case until you hear the locking click. Reassemble the two covers, insert the key, and the cover cap.
