Replacing the Timing Belt on Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel, then use a screwdriver to remove the right splash guard under the wing. Remove the engine cover panel. Take off the belt cover from inside the engine. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, tensioner, and belt, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Refit the engine cover panel and the splash guard under the wing.
