Disassembling the Ford Mondeo Key

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 3 - Years 2007-2014

Replace the battery in the Ford Mondeo remote key as soon as you notice a decline in performance. Take the remote and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to lever between the key cover and the plastic casing. Continue to lever until the two pieces separate from the cover. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver (take a new one of the same size and voltage). Reassemble the cover by pressing on the remote key until you hear the locking click. Secure the key in the cover.
