Operation: How to change the door panel on Ford Focus

Replacing the door panel of a Ford Focus, let's see how to remove and change it. We disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. We remove the plastic covering the handle. With a screwdriver we unscrew the screws placed in the handle. We remove the plastic covering near the window and disconnect the electrical terminal of the speaker. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the clips for tightening it. Finally, remove the panel with your hands and unhook it from the door (disconnect the power cables and the opening cable). We mount the new panel.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
