Replacement of Clogged Fuel Filter

Model: Ford Ranger MK 2 - Years 1993-1997

The fuel filter is located at the entrance of the fuel filler neck. To replace it, you need to remove the two screws holding the filler neck, which is connected to the pipe that directs fuel to the tank. Once the screws are removed, lift the vehicle and disconnect the pipe. Release the hose clamp to free the filter. After removing the clogged filter from the pipe, replace it with a new component. Tighten the hose clamp securely and refit the pipe into its housing. Tighten the two fixing screws. Check for any leaks during refuelling.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
