Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Ford Ranger MK 2 - Years 1993-1997

Once you open the front bonnet, the engine air filter housing is located at the front left (when facing the vehicle) just behind the headlamp. The first step is to unclip the retaining clip that holds the two parts of the filter housing together; once unclipped, you can pull away the front part with the hose and remove the old filter. Ensure there are no residues inside the filter seat, then insert the new filter, making sure the seal fits correctly against the closure edge. Realign the other part of the housing and close the clip.
