Removing the Battery from a Ford Focus

Is the battery on your Ford Focus damaged and in need of replacement? Here’s how to remove it. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers, and secure it. You will find the battery at the top right; unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals. Remove the battery from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the engine bonnet after maintenance. Start the car engine and check its operation.
