Replacing Remote Key Battery for Ford Focus and Fiesta

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018

To replace the battery of the remote key for the Ford Focus (this procedure also applies to the Ford Fiesta), first, remove the section of the remote shell located on the opposite side of the buttons. Once done, extract the metal key from its slot. Now, proceed to detach the entire shell from the other half by prying with a flat screwdriver along its perimeter. At this point, you have access to the battery compartment. Remove the old battery from its slot and replace it with a new one. Repeat all the steps in reverse order, and you're done!
